Yeah I suck at returning comments Sorry….

Nothing for the site as of yet though I have made another icon textures set to be uploaded soon.

I have entered 2 icon contests at Carnavaled and Aesthetic Intoxication. Can’t tell you which is mine though

I noticed a lot of sites direct linking to bullets and stuff even though the rules state to upload them to your own server so I have turned hotlink protection on again. It is usually on but hasn’t been since my site returned a couple of months ago so I didn’t realise it was off. This means that the images that you direct link to will not work. Just thought I would let you know.

As for the sewing I have to do, it goes like this: (F&S stands for the company I am sewing for so basically my boss I guess…)

F&S: “Do you think you can do 6 skirts by the 6th August?”
Me: “Yep! No worries, that gives me plenty of time.”

*F&S drop off fabric for a total of 14 skirts (which includes 4 patterns to make also) to my place.* Are you kidding me? I only knew about 6 which is why I said it was no problem. Anyway I don’t say anything and just start cutting them out and stuff and hope to God I will get it done in time.

The next day:

F&S: “We need a size 14 dress plus the pattern, can you do that?”
Me: “Yeah that’s OK as the dress is easy and won’t take much longer.”

*F&S drop off not only the dress fabric to make but also fabric to make another skirt for her friend, which I wasn’t aware* Again I don’t say anything…

A few days later F&S ring me and ask me if I can do yet another skirt. What 15 skirts ain’t enough for you? Since I am making good time I tell her I am not sure and to ask me next week which is now this week.

So you may be wondering how much I have done… or maybe not. I’ma tell you anyway. I have finished the 5 patterns needed, cut every single piece of every garment out, make 6 unlined skirts, 1 dress and 3 and a half lined skirts and I still have over a week to finish it all. I have done 10 and a half garments and I am super pleased with myself as it seems so daunting at the start. I haven’t added the total cost of everything yet as I am writing the invoice as I go but it should be like nearly $300.

I am going to take photos at the very end so you can see them all though some are the same design and fabric just a different size.
